Daklr and Styrian got their account “suspended” from Substack today. I say it with quotes because it seems more like a ban+account deletion. Any notes, posts, comments, or threads they made are gone now.
Daklr, as most of you know, was up to some nefarious acts at the time of his ban but he is more inclined to believe his ban was a result of sending gore to a different person he was antagonizing. Styrian was also messing with the same guy, but as far as I know he never sent anything like gore so it’s hard to say. That being said, it’s an odd coincidence that they get banned at almost the exact same time, and Styrian was not involved with the nefarious acts I mentioned earlier.
As Daklr mentions, GrymhetSS was also previously banned for—I believe—also sending illicit content to people’s DMs.
I say all of this to remind you all that Substack isn’t completely unmoderated. It isn’t as bad as iFunny is now, but it’s not like the mods don’t do their job. You can’t just expect to get away with certain things.
Going forward, it would probably be best to simply avoid sending any sort of gore/backhole/etc. to people on here. I would also generally recommend keeping more sensitive discussions off of the app, using a third party like Discord or preferably Telegram, instead of using the [monitored] Substack chats. Mods are not your friends. Ever. Remember this.
If any of you were following what Daklr was up to at the time of his ban, you probably know that the “nefarious acts” in question was trying to doxx one of the many porn accounts on Substack, this one being a substitute teacher. You probably also think this is why he got banned. Frankly, I am not so sure. It’s not like doxxing is an automatic ban on Substack, and in fact there are people here who routinely post people’s doxxes, even making money off of it. So I don’t really think that was it, beyond maybe some sort of contributing factor.
Still, if you are going to plan a doxx do it off-site. Not only is it safer that way, Substack is also just doesn’t have a very good chat feature. And of course, archive your important information/posts. Styrian and Daklr’s posts are all inaccessible now, and potentially completely lost. As you can see, their most recent articles can’t be viewed:

The thread Daklr was coordinating the doxx in is also in some sort of purgatory. I was able to open it from my notifications after the ban, but that was it. I closed out of it so I could send a link to Daklr’s message and couldn’t reopen it.
Just don’t be so trigger happy with the backholes, gentlemen.
In light of this, I made a Telegram chat for Deep iSubstack. I would recommend using this over Substack chats. Link becomes invalid after 24 hours. DM me for a permanent one after that.
